Bikes we provide on our tours

Hybrid Aluminium bike

Our standard tour bikes are custom-built hybrid and touring models from Muesing, a German bike manufacturer we've relied on for years. The aluminium frames keep things light without sacrificing durability over multiple days of riding, and an adjustable stem plus a choice of seat options means we can get the fit right for most riders before you even leave Split. 700c wheels with slick tires give you road-bike-like speed and rolling efficiency on the coastal tarmac, while still staying comfortable enough for a full week of island-hopping and everyday touring. Every bike comes with a rear rack as standard, so our bike bags sit securely.

Road Aluminium bike

For road riders, we run custom aluminium road bikes from Muesing, built specifically with longer days on Croatian roads in mind. An adjustable stem and a range of seat options mean the fit is dialed in for you, not a one-size-fits-most setup, and a carbon fork takes the edge off rougher tarmac without adding weight. Components are Shimano 105 throughout — reliable, well-proven, and easy to service anywhere if something needs adjusting mid-trip. The bikes come with a rear rack, so you've got somewhere to strap a pannier for the essentials — a beach towel, a bottle of local wine, or a bit of olive oil picked up along the way.

E-Hybrid bike

For anyone who wants the miles without the effort, our e-bike fleet includes hybrid touring models from Green's and Giant, fitted with Bosch or Yamaha motors in either 500W or 625W depending on the model. They're genuinely fun to ride — enough power to flatten out Dalmatia's hillier stretches without feeling like you're cheating, and plenty of range for a full day of island-hopping and coastal cruising. Aluminium frames keep the weight manageable, hydraulic disc brakes give you real stopping power on the descents, and Shimano gearing makes shifting smooth even fully loaded. Whether it's your first time on an e-bike or your tenth tour, you'll feel steady and in control from the first pedal stroke.

E-road bike

For those who want electric assistance without giving up a proper carbon frame, we also offer premium BMC e-road bikes as a supplement to our standard fleet. At around 13 kg, these are some of the lightest e-bikes you'll find on a rental fleet, built around the TQ-HPR50 drive system — powerful enough to flatten Dalmatia's climbs, but subtle enough that it still feels like riding a real bike, not being pushed along by a motor. Roadmachines have electric shifters Shimano Di2 or Sram Etap.

As with our other performance bikes, this is a premium supplement over our standard tour bikes, and sizing is more limited than our standard fleet, so let us know your height when booking to confirm the right fit is available.

Carbon Road bike with mechanical shifters

endurance (comfortable) road bike

For riders who want a proper carbon road bike on tour, we offer the BMC Roadmachine THREE — built for that sweet spot between endurance comfort and real speed. It runs full Shimano 105 mechanical throughout, with Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes for confident stopping on the coastal descents, and 700x30c Vittoria Rubino Pro tires that strike a good balance between grip and rolling speed on Croatia's roads. Available in sizes from XS (47cm) up to XL (61cm), so fit isn't a compromise.

One thing to know before you book this one: there's no rear rack on the carbon Roadmachine, so it's not set up to carry panniers or extra bags. If you'll want to bring along a change of clothes, a bottle of wine, or anything else for the day, our aluminium road or hybrid touring bikes are the better fit — this carbon model is built purely for riding light and fast.

Carbon road bike with electrical shifting

endurance (comfortable) road bike

For riders who want to go all-in on electronic shifting, our top-tier carbon road option is either the Cannondale Synapse Di2 or the BMC Roadmachine TWO — both endurance-focused carbon frames built to be light, stiff, and genuinely comfortable over a long day of riding. The Cannondale runs Shimano Ultegra Di2 with hydraulic disc brakes and Fulcrum Racing wheels; the BMC pairs Shimano 105 Di2 with its own carbon fork and PRD23 wheels. Either way, shifting is instant and precise with a tap of the paddle — no cables to worry about, no missed shifts on a climb. Sizes run from XXS (44cm) up to XL (61cm) across both models, so there's a proper fit whichever bike you choose.

As with our carbon 105 mechanical model, these bikes come without a rear rack, so they're not built to carry panniers or extra bags — this is a bike for riding, not touring with luggage. If you need to carry gear along the way, our aluminium road or hybrid touring bikes are the better choice.

Road Racing

If you'd rather race than tour, we also offer the BMC Teammachine as a premium upgrade — proper carbon racing bikes for riders who want real speed, not just a comfortable ride. Choose between the Teammachine R 01 FIVE, built around BMC's Aerocore design for a faster ride in the wind, or the Teammachine SLR 01 SEVEN, a lighter, more traditional race frame for serious climbing. Both run Shimano 105 Di2 electronic shifting and hydraulic disc brakes, and both roll on genuine carbon race wheels (CR50 on the R 01, CR40 on the SLR 01) — this is as close as our rental fleet gets to what you'd see in the professional peloton.

Given the level of bike, this option comes at a premium supplement over our standard tour bikes — ask us for current pricing when booking.
